The Digital Paintings’ Collection of Prof. Dr. Ileshan Smanov
The State educational compulsory standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan envisage innovative methods of teaching humanities. “A picture is worth a thousand words”- visualization of makes it possible to absorb large amounts of data. The Russian writer Ivan Turgenev wrote 1862 in his novel “Fathers and Sons”: “A picture shows me at a glance what it takes dozens of pages of a book to expound.”
Prof. Dr. Ileshan Smanov, prorector for distance learning of the South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical Institute, has issued a book “Timeless Values” (ISBN 978-601-292-654-5) that presents for teaching purposes a collection of fine arts masterpieces of internationally renowned and as yet less established Kazakh painters.
